SLPN’s next phase!

OK. Live Podcasts. I have already talked about this on the SLPN’s blog about us moving to live podcasts. Well as of this week we shall move to the live podcasting aspect that I have been intrested in doing.

So how is this going to work?

Well certainly not with video, at least for now. My approach is to do it with audio in a radio enviroment because it is easier to stream for some people who have lower bandwith. Also it’s what I know best. And as much as I like a challenge I prefer doing it in audio for now. It’s live because we will record it in front a live audience and as we move on, we will get the video in the mix as well.

So the week begins most likely on Tuesday with a new show called “The Warf Show” which I will be doing on KONA radio which will replace the Podmafia Re-Broadcast. With Podmafia being a podcast, there isn’t much sense to rebroadcast it I think. It might be this week or next week though. But I will be recording it for podcast purposes.

Then there is MetaNews Weekly which WILL happen this Wednesday at Nowhereville at 9AM SLT. 9AM SLT is 5PM for all the UK folks so that will be a fun little challenge. The hosts of that show are Malburns Writer and Tara Yeats in-world.

There is a SLPN Live group that I have set up for people who want updates for when shows are happening and such like. The group is not the only solution. We also have a Subscribe-o-Matic board for all those updates as well so if you DON’T want to waste one of your precious groups, well your not left behind.

Hopefully now this moron can blog more, Photoblogging was something i enjoyed doing.

Archipelago Speedway Update #1

What is the Archipelago(Fruit Cup as well) Speedway. It is a project first mentioned by Razzap Snookums which i am currently building and carrying out because, Razzap is busy building a city with shadows, Crap is building some temple for podcasting and other people are either pissed off at people in the locations and do not want to help.

So it looks like its up to me to have the fun round here and sort this crap out.

So for the first update -

1. I am currently on Minitrack one which is the BlaksleeWorld Speedway track.
2. The road for BlaksleeWorld has been made now
3. Barriers are still in construction but are taking shape
4. I have bought a Lap Timer/Counter and all that fun stuff for L$5000 from the creator at Domino Designs (his name just this second has gone blank to me, i’ll probably remember soon)
5. The Jack Pitt’s Stop paving is done, I need to now make the areas for the cars to sleep in. The plan is also to have a VIP room for racers only above the Pitt Stop.

That pretty much covers it for the first update of the Archipelago / Fruit Cup Speedway.

Edit - I am aiming to get the track done for this Sunday, so we can perhaps have a BETA test of the track. If not then hopefully we can test on Tuesday, nothing ever happens then.

Sorry that there have been little blog entries as of late. I would personally like to do lots more entries but just havent found topics to talk about. However i think i have some now so, back to blogging

Woodstock around the corner!

This week, Second Life will witness one of the largest, if not THE LARGEST, music event in Second Life history. There is a lot of anticipation for this and the people who are involved in certain aspects of Woodstock are expecting people to flood on in. I myself have been working on some new t-shirt designs made especially for SL Woodstock. I also have witnessed the growth of this project. Here is a couple of photos from the stage at Edloe along with a countdown to the event on Crap Mariner’s tower of matzo, known as Piper Point.

New Second Life Blogroll coming soon!

OK, its been a long time since i did an entry to this blog, but i will be doing an update to the blogroll soon. In the meantime i will also be using a new strategy to do my blogging. I will upload my own pictures to this server and then blog in a nice quality. The gallery will store all my pictures soon.

In an effort to improve this blog, I will be adding more SLurl’s for people to visit. It has not been updated for months now and needs to get new life!

Changes Coming Soon!

I am going to be changing things about the blog around. I will be categorising all my posts, all 173 of them. I will also try and get 5 in a week minimum but right now I am on a bit of a very busy run in my life that could probably last 1 month. Along with some skinning changes that should be about it. Also I hope to lead this into a domain name and remote hosting at the end of all this too.

Some Housekeeping to do…

Well lets see what have i been doing this week. Well you could say that i have not done too much this week or have done a lot depending on your definition. So i want to take this time to talk about some stuff that is coming up and what’s been happening.

Take it or Leave it
Just in case you haven’t read the blog “New World Notes” i was recently mentioned in the blog and was very pleased at what was said. I am still sort of modest about my hosting skills but people keep saying that i’m great so im inclined to believe them . Also i am pleased to announce that I will be hosting Take it or Leave it on Tuesdays at Nowhereville at an earlier time of 1PM SLT. This event is really for the Europeans because they never get a L$2,500 game on at that time which is kind of upsetting so I offered to do it. Also I will be hosting at the Audiocourses “ACHUB Spring Festival” on Sunday at 1PM SLT. That will also be L$2,500 top prize so fans of my work have a two for one deal as I will be heading over to Nowhereville pretty much straight after the event.

New Blog Theme
I decided that Kubrick was looking a little old for me now and so i switched to another theme and I am currently in the midst of redesigning a lot of the work to make it more eye-appealing including easier ways to subscribe to the blog.

RL : Eazy Computer Help
Finally, I have teamed up with Louis Ringgold in a blog called Eazy Computer Help. Sure this isn’t Second Life at all but i promised him that I would plug it at places so I thought that I would start here. It is really good if you want some tips although its more aimed at computing novices

A Few Things

Well i am back into the blogosphere after taking a break for the holidays. So im going to get right back into the things i was planning before the holidays. I am now able to be on Second Life longer and will be reporting on events. Also i have now made an email (stuartwarf@gmail.com) for all readers to submit content to me and i may put it up if i think its good.
