SpaceNavigator Arrives!

OK, Yesterday I ordered a SpaceNavigator from Dabs.com. I decided to choose the cheapest delivery option for the delivery. This morning I wake up and find that a box had arrived for me. So here is some unboxing photos :)

So far I have been amazed with this little mouse wonder. Why did it take me so long to order one of these? Seriously it is a great toy to have and the best part is that it really intuitive to use. I’ll continue playing with it and give it an early review on tomorrows Podmafia Podcast.

I bet it’s a lot heavier then you expected too. :) I was sold into getting one when I saw it demonstrated (or tried to be demonstrated) at SLCC 2007. These things are great since the SL viewer directly supports them now. The old joystick flycam had to be reworked to support them, and even then my client would freeze up at times or go hay wire. Congrads on the new toy. I am finding it ever more useful every day. I don’t even use the disc to install. Just get the latest drivers from the web site itself. The disc is usually out dated. I purchased a second when my cats ate the wires to the first. I desperately tried to solder the wires together (and it worked), but it was undependable.
